South Savo Electric Mobility Cluster

The country’s first collaborative network for light electric mobility companies has begun operations in South Savo. The pioneers already involved are jointly developing new emission-free ways to move in everyday life and during leisure time. The group of innovators is continuously growing.

The cluster is developing innovations related to emission-free mobility and creating new business opportunities. The participating companies are developing and manufacturing new products, offering services, and engaging in contract manufacturing. At the same time, they are weaving extensive collaboration networks both domestically and internationally. The research and development organizations involved are providing knowledge to support these efforts.

The goal of the South Savo Electric Mobility Cluster project is to establish a cluster that promotes emission-free light mobility business locally, nationally, and internationally. In economics, a cluster refers to geographical concentrations of companies and organizations consisting of interconnected industries and other related actors that are significant for competition.
